I'll write a lot about God, some about sports, a little about culture stuff, and of course I'll make fun of things that deserve it. If you don't get sarcasm, you probably shouldn't read this very often.

Glad I'm not the only one who walked away with that thought. I'd rather just stick to everybody confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Bible as the infallible, unchanging Word of God than have to deal with all of these lengthy confessions that people hold as infallible (thus taking the place of the Bible). I can understand their place, but I think it is easily displayed how they are misused.
Go join the church of Christ then.
So... learn anything in the last month or so?
Oh, I've learned lots of things. To wit:
I learned that being insanely busy with work leaves time for family and internet stuff, but not often both.
I learned that when your wife is in the first trimester with her second pregnancy, and she's perpetually nauseous and exhausted, and unlike the first pregnancy she has a very hyperactive 10-month-old to chase around all day, taking care of my ladies often reduces the spare computer time to nil.
I learned that my newest assistant at work has completed his training stint on Dagobah and will be joining me in Chicago starting Monday. This won't end the insane work schedule, but will reduce the overwhelming nature back to just plain whelming.
I learned that the end of trimester 1 is bringing about a drastic reduction in the worst symptoms, which is nice.
Translation: I should have more time to play very shortly.
Additionally, I have learned that I have major governor envy, as the state to the north and the two states to the east are blessed with truly conservative governors, while we get more of the same old garbage. I even miss Blagojevich - Quinn is exactly the same ideologically, but completely boring. At least Blago had the train-wreck entertaining factor going.
I learned that stating the obvious about a false teacher in Michigan earns a huge amount of vitriol. So that's kind of on my to-do list for the weekend. More of a review, but whatever.
I learned that when one week includes a trip to the east side of Ohio for a funeral, followed by a trip to central Iowa for a job at 7 the next morning, with a job in northeast Wisconsin at 6 the next morning, that you can get an amazing amount of sleep in your truck.
I learned that if you want to make a bad last impression, write your obituary before you die and refuse to mention exactly one relative.
I learned that nuclear power must be the safest source imaginable, because if these guys haven't caused a meltdown, it must be nearly impossible.
And maybe some other stuff, I forget.
