Among other things, it's not meant to be a complete discourse on the nature of apostasy (are they truly saved then fall away, revealed to have been reprobate all along, etc), the doctrine of perseverance, the nature of Hebrews warnings, etc.<br /><br />It's really just one point. God works through means (which we agree on, yes?), and the church is a significant means to prevent apostasy. So those who claim to be Christians while intentionally separating from the church are removing themselves from the means of grace for perseverance.
